Keeping the industry ahead of the pack is the region’s greatest asset: a workforce cultivated from local universities and colleges offering nationally recognized programs in cybersecurity, virtual reality and applications. Metro Little Rock is home to the FIS FinTech Accelerator. Now in its fourth year, the program has brought 40 companies from around the globe to Little Rock to participate in this industry-leading accelerator program, which connects innovative companies with over 100 potential banking partners.
Starting in 2019, and based on the success of the FIS FinTech Accelerator, the Independent Community Bankers of America launched a new “ICBA ThinkTech Accelerator” in partnership with the Venture Center in Little Rock. Eight companies from the US and around the world came to Little Rock for 12-weeks of intensive programming.
The Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub in Conway is the site of a new national talent training program from Facebook called Career Connections, launched in March 2019.
