Banking giant FIS fuels the FinTech industry from Little Rock.

Fortune 500 company FIS is the world’s largest provider of dedicated banking and payment technologies. The company was founded in Little Rock in 1968 as Systematics, which was later acquired by ALLTEL Information Services, and then bought by title insurance giant Fidelity National Financial in 2003, who renamed it Fidelity Information Services (FIS). From Little Rock, as well as from its hubs in Jacksonville, Milwaukee, London, Sao Paulo, Pune (India) and Singapore, FIS serves the largest players in the financial world, processing 27 billion transactions and $9 trillion annually.

FIS also powers the FIS FinTech Accelerator out of The Venture Center in Little Rock. The rigorous 12-week program draws cutting-edge FinTech startups from all over the world. The program connects early-stage financial technology companies with C-suite executives, provides seed investment and offers a curriculum that aids in strategically addressing go-to-market, business and finance challenges.
