Did You Know?

Dr. John R. Brinkley, nationally known as the "Goat Doctor" lived at Marylake in the East End community of Saline County from 1937 - 1942. He received the name because he would transplant the sex glands of young buck goats into humans to restore sexual potency and good health.

Arts, Culture, & History

The Metro Little Rock region is home to a wide variety of art, history, and cultural assets suited for all tastes. Twenty-four museums provide educational enrichment including science and art museums specifically designed for children, but fun for adults as well.

The region is also home to the Clinton Presidential Library, one of only 13 Presidential Libraries and Museums in the country. Located in the Clinton Presidential Park, the Clinton Presidential Library has many interactive exhibits of interest to all ages.

Public and private art galleries offer exhibits of Arkansas artists as well as several traveling exhibits throughout the year.
